πŸš€ Why You’re NOT Motivated: The Real Reason Will Surprise You

Have you ever had a goal that you desperately want to achieve...

But somehow, you just can't get yourself to take consistent action? 😩

You want to lose weight.
You want to make more money.
You want to build a business.
You want to write a book.
You want to attract a relationship.
You want to grow your career.

You know what you should be doing.

But you're not doing it.

Then you tell yourself:

"I just need more motivation."

But what if motivation isn't the problem?

What if you're focusing on the wrong part of your goal?

The real problem may be that you're focused entirely on the result, while ignoring the four things that actually create the result.

I call this framework FTBA:

πŸ’ F — Feelings
🧠 T — Thoughts
πŸ’‘ B — Beliefs
πŸƒ A — Actions

And understanding this chain can completely change the way you approach your goals.

🎯 Stop Focusing Only on the Result

Let's say your goal is to make β‚Ή1 crore.

What do most people do?

They visualize β‚Ή1 crore. πŸ’°

They write β‚Ή1 crore in their journal.

They repeat affirmations about being a millionaire.

They use manifestation techniques.

But then...

They still don't make the calls.

They don't create the content.

They don't sell.

They don't build the business.

Why?

Because the result is the last link in the chain.

Before the result come four other links:

Feelings → Thoughts → Beliefs → Actions → Results

If the first four aren't aligned, your motivation to take action will remain weak.

That's why:

A desire without the right FTBA can result in zero motivation.

πŸ”— The FTBA Chain Explained

Let's understand each link.

❀️ 1. Feelings

First ask:

How do I currently feel about my goal?

This is where many people discover the real problem.

You may say:

"I want to lose weight."

But underneath that goal, you may actually feel:

😩 Frustrated
πŸ˜” Hopeless
😀 Impatient
😨 Scared
πŸ’” Disappointed in yourself

Or perhaps you're trying to make more money while constantly feeling:

"I don't have enough."

That's not the emotional state that naturally supports consistent action.

So your first job is to identify your current emotional pattern.

🧠 2. Thoughts

Next ask:

What thoughts come into my mind whenever I think about this goal?

Suppose you want to expand your business.

Your thoughts might be:

"It will be too complicated."

"I'll need too many employees."

"What if nobody buys?"

"What if I fail?"

These thoughts matter because they influence your ability to move forward.

If every time you think about your goal, your mind produces reasons why it won't work, taking action becomes harder.

Instead, consciously create the thought process required for your goal.

For example:

✨ "There is always a way to solve problems."

✨ "I can learn what I don't know."

✨ "Every action gives me feedback."

✨ "I can figure this out step by step."

πŸ’‘ 3. Beliefs

Thoughts are temporary.

Beliefs are deeper.

A belief might sound like:

❌ "I'm not good enough."

❌ "Nobody will choose me."

❌ "There aren't enough opportunities."

❌ "I'm not capable of building a successful business."

These beliefs can quietly control your actions.

Imagine someone wants to become a successful author but believes:

"I'm not a good writer."

How consistently will that person write?

Probably not very consistently.

Now imagine changing the belief to:

✨ "I love writing."

✨ "I am becoming a better writer every day."

✨ "I have valuable ideas to share."

Suddenly, the action becomes easier.

This is why I don't want you to create only result-based affirmations.

Instead of repeatedly saying:

"I am a bestselling author."

also create an action-based belief:

"I love writing books."

The first focuses on the destination.

The second helps create the behaviour that takes you there.

πŸƒ 4. Actions

Finally, we reach action.

This is where most people think motivation should begin.

But action is actually the fourth link.

If your feelings are wrong...

Your thoughts become negative.

If your thoughts are negative...

Your beliefs become limiting.

If your beliefs are limiting...

Your actions suffer.

For example:

🎯 Goal: Lose weight

Negative action:

πŸ• Overeating
πŸ›‹οΈ Avoiding exercise
⏰ Constantly postponing workouts

🎯 Goal: Write a book

Negative action:

πŸ“± Scrolling instead of writing
πŸ“ Constantly planning but never writing
⏳ Waiting for the "right time"

🎯 Goal: Build a business

Negative action:

❌ Avoiding sales conversations
❌ Not following up
❌ Creating excuses instead of taking action

The solution isn't simply to shout:

"Be more motivated!"

You have to understand what's happening before the action.

πŸ” Step 1: Identify Your Negative FTBA

Take a notebook and write down your goal.

Then ask yourself four questions:

❀️ What negative feeling do I currently have?

Maybe it's desperation, impatience, fear, frustration or lack.

🧠 What negative thoughts do I have?

What does your mind repeatedly tell you when you think about the goal?

πŸ’‘ What limiting beliefs do I have?

What statements do you believe about yourself, your goal or your circumstances?

πŸƒ What actions am I currently taking—or avoiding?

Be completely honest.

Sometimes inaction itself is an action pattern.

🌱 Step 2: Create Your Required FTBA

Now replace the negative pattern with the FTBA you actually need.

Ask:

❀️ What do I need to feel?

🧠 What do I need to think?

πŸ’‘ What do I need to believe?

πŸƒ What action frequency do I need?

For example, if your goal is to grow a business:

Required Feelings:

πŸ”₯ Excitement
πŸ’ͺ Confidence
😊 Enthusiasm

Required Thoughts:

"I can learn."
"Every conversation is an opportunity."
"I don't need every person to say yes."

Required Beliefs:

"I love talking to customers."
"I am capable of creating value."
"I enjoy selling."

Required Actions:

πŸ“ž Talk to potential customers every day.
πŸŽ₯ Create content consistently.
πŸ“© Follow up regularly.

Now you're no longer simply visualizing the result.

You're conditioning yourself for the process that creates the result.

πŸ”„ Step 3: Condition Yourself Every Day

This is where consistency becomes powerful.

Once you've created your new FTBA, repeat it every day.

Read it.

Say it aloud.

Visualize it.

Feel it.

Practice it.

Give your subconscious time to become familiar with the new pattern.

Instead of spending all your time repeating:

"I want the result."

start repeating:

"This is how I feel."

"This is how I think."

"This is what I believe."

"This is how I act."

The objective is to make the new FTBA feel natural.

⏳ Stop Expecting 10 Years of Results in One Month

One of the biggest mistakes we make is comparing our beginning to someone else's long-term result.

We see a successful author.

A millionaire.

A successful entrepreneur.

A successful coach.

And think:

"I want what they have."

But we rarely ask:

"What did they repeatedly do for the last 10 or 20 years?"

I've learned that we often underestimate what can happen in 10 years and overestimate what can happen in one month.

Real transformation takes conditioning, repetition and consistency.

You don't become extraordinary because you practiced something once.

You become extraordinary because you kept practicing it long enough for it to become part of who you are.

πŸ”₯ The Action That Creates Your Goal Is Often the Action That Maintains It

This is another principle I want you to remember.

If exercise helps you lose weight...

You still need exercise to maintain your weight.

If creating content helps you build an audience...

You still need to create content to maintain and grow that audience.

If practicing manifestation helps you develop your mindset...

You still need to continue practicing.

The action required to achieve the goal is often very similar to the action required to maintain the goal.

So don't ask only:

"What do I need to do to get there?"

Ask:

"What kind of person am I willing to become consistently?"

✨ Manifestors Are Creators

Manifestation isn't about sitting with your eyes closed and imagining a Ferrari while doing nothing.

Manifestors are creators. πŸš€

When you visualize your desired future, don't visualize only the final result.

Visualize:

❀️ The required feelings
🧠 The required thoughts
πŸ’‘ The required beliefs
πŸƒ The required actions

That's when manifestation becomes connected to creation.

🎯 Your FTBA Exercise Today

Take a blank page.

Write your biggest goal at the top.

Then create four sections:

CURRENT FTBA ❌

What am I currently feeling, thinking, believing and doing?

REQUIRED FTBA βœ…

What feelings, thoughts, beliefs and actions would support my goal?

DAILY CONDITIONING πŸ”„

What will I repeat every day?

ACTION FREQUENCY πŸš€

What will I actually do consistently?

Don't make this complicated.

The clarity itself can be powerful.

Because once you know the internal pattern standing between you and your goal, you can finally begin changing it.

πŸ’™ Final Thoughts

If you're struggling with motivation, don't immediately blame yourself.

Don't assume you're lazy.

Don't assume you lack discipline.

Instead, pause and look at your FTBA.

Ask yourself:

What am I feeling?
What am I thinking?
What do I believe?
What am I doing?

Then ask:

What do I need to feel, think, believe and do to become the person who achieves this goal?

That's where your real work begins.

Because your goal is only the final link.

Your feelings, thoughts, beliefs and actions create the chain that leads to it. πŸ”—βœ¨

And when that chain is aligned...

Taking action becomes much easier.
